Fresh out of Mexico comes this premiere courtesy of Dusty Disko. It’s by a freshly formed duo Disco Suicide Club, consisting of Chewy Vega (Disco Lust) and Angel Chaurand.
The debut is coming in hot with a steady 118 BPM in a groovy Gminor wrapping.
Here we have a catchy bass groove centering the piece, and a classic old skool Disco setting with piano riff, rhythm guitars and horde of percussions. A well placed horn section shines in the mix, along with some toned down, sweeping strings.
I’m keeping my eyes unblinkingly locked on Dusty Disko Records, and their recent slate of releases with Disco Sally, Prisma Deer, Roller Deluxe and Just Martina certify the label is signing some very interesting new names and certainly warrants all the attention they are getting.
