When you can be both productive and keep up an insane level of quality at the same time, everyone’s a winner. The producer AND the consumer.

It isn’t cheap being a die hard fan of Ladies On Mars these days.
Having started off with his Booker T edit back in March 2020, Jonathan Douglas Braverman has increased his output enormously, spanning reworks of Andy Gibb, ABBA, Grace Jones, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bee Gees and Donna Summer.

Re-touching Prince isn’t unique. It’s been done a zillion times, with more or less successful tries. But one thing is for sure: There’s nothing random or hackslash when Ladies On Mars goes to (re)work.

1999 is synonymous with Prince for a large percentage of the world’s population. It’s a party anthem that most people have an intimate relation with.

Ladies On Mars goes a long way to maintain the proper soul of Prince‘s immaculate original but adds so much more to it.

It’s a roaring fest from the get go. With an easy intro building into party monster in a minute, it’s a joyful blast to enjoy, but when Prince‘s vocals hits the real party goes off!

This is a Prince rework done properly!
