Austrian based Mannix (amongst others from Midnight Riot fame) has perpetrated this sheer stroke of genius.

The 1979 original by Al Wilson was one his last before he disappeared into obscurity. Wilson was trapped in contractual limbo with Playboy Records until it folded at the end of the 70ies, and his career unfortunately suffered tremendously.

The edit consists of the original’s soulfulness combined with a beefed up bassline, that is truly infectious and will enter your blood stream immediately via your ears. Mannix has really polished up and cleaned the original track, and Crystal Disco fits it perfectly describing what he’s done.
