Fool’s Paradise, helmed by Mark Knight, hits its first anniversary with a bang, bringing back the UK’s maestro Richard Earnshaw. This time, he’s reworking Fonda Rae and Wish’s ‘84 classic, ‘Touch Me’, which, lest we forget, also had a magnificent cover by the devine Cathy Dennis back in 1992.

Earnshaw, a jazz-trained dynamo, has been a relentless force. Co-founder of iCulture and labels like Duffnote and One51, he’s produced and remixed for legends like Roy Ayers and Jocelyn Brown under aliases like Spiritchaser. His tracks have rocked labels from Defected to Ministry of Sound, marking his indelible stamp on the dance music world.

Earnshaw’s take on Rae’s ’84 classic is a funkadelic rollercoaster of deep synth stabs and a sultry disco vibe. This reimagined beast throbs with his signature slick keys, primed to hypnotize under the disco inferno.
